Sensociencia Advances Science Education: Participation in ESERA Summer School and Workshops at the Science Park
During the month of June, Sensociencia continued its mission to bring science closer to all audiences by participating in two key events that reinforce its commitment to inclusive and accessible science education.
Participation in the ESERA Summer School 2025
From June 9 to 14, 2025, Sensociencia took part in the ESERA Summer School held in Almería and organized by the Universities of Almería, Málaga, and Jaén. This event brought together researchers and educators from across Europe to share experiences and strengthen the community of science education research. Throughout the week, workshops, presentations, and mentoring sessions were held, providing participants with tools and knowledge to improve science teaching in diverse contexts.

Workshops for Children Aged 5 to 7 at the Science Park of Granada
At the same time, Sensociencia participated in an educational workshop at the Science Park of Granada, aimed at children aged 5 to 7. The young participants explored scientific concepts through hands-on investigation and modeling activities designed to stimulate their curiosity and critical thinking. These activities took place in the Explora Room, an interactive space within the park that encourages active learning and experimentation from an early age.
These initiatives reflect Sensociencia’s commitment to inclusive, participatory science education tailored to the needs of all students. Through its involvement in academic events and collaboration with institutions such as the Science Park, Sensociencia continues to work towards bringing science closer to society and promoting quality education for everyone.
