IN-STEAM, the route in the Seville Science Fair towards a more inclusive and attractive science education
The IN-STEAM project was present this week at the Seville Science Fair with the activity ‘IN-STEAM, the route towards a more inclusive and attractive science education’.
The Fundación Descubre stand marked the start of the IN-STEAM route, an activity that took teachers on a journey that introduced them to the STEAM educational model with an inclusive approach.
After answering a few questions, the route continued at the Sensociencia-University of Almería stand, where teachers participated alongside the Sensociencia team in interactive workshops and a final Q&A session.

The activity was promoted by Sensociencia and Fundación Descubre, co-organizer of the Fair along with the Andalusian Society for the Dissemination of Science.
The Seville Science Fair, the largest held in Spain, registered more than 33,000 visitors over three days to learn about the scientific projects prepared by more than 9,000 students. It is funded by, among other entities, the Regional Ministries of University, Research and Innovation, and Educational Development and Vocational Training, as well as the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).
The Seville Science Fair, the most representative hub of the Andalusian Science and Innovation Fair Network and one of the longest-running in Spain, will celebrate its twenty-third edition in 2025.
The Fair is an exhibition space for the world of research, educational centres, museums, businesses, universities, and the general public, seeking to exchange, disseminate, and communicate scientific, technical, and environmental knowledge.
