Celebrating Inclusive Science: The IN-STEAM Festival in Paris
Paris will host the IN-STEAM Festival from 1 to 4 October 2026 at the magnificent Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie. Organised within the framework of the IN-STEAM project this event will be a vibrant celebration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
The Festival will be a major milestone, bringing together students and educators from the three participating project countries: France, Italy, and Spain. Hosted in France by Association Traces, the event will gather at least 125 pupils, alongside educators and school leaders.
Attendees can look forward to a rich programme of events:
–Project Showcase: A comprehensive presentation of the IN-STEAM project and its core objectives.
–Hands-on Science: Engaging experimental activities designed directly with and for the children.
–Sharing STEAM in a box: A special exhibition showcasing the scientific works and creations made by the children during their laboratory activities.
–Networking and Community: Convivial moments designed to foster intercultural exchange and peer-to-peer inspiration.
Empowering Educators: The Final Training Module
In addition, a key highlight of the Festival will be the culmination of the IN-STEAM training course for educators. The event will host the final module (Module 5) of the IN-STEAM training course. At least 50 educators from the school sector will participate in this face-to-face collaborative workshop.
During this intensive session, participants will witness experimental activities in person, observe the children’s reactions, and draw inspiration from the ELP (Experimental Logical Processing) methodology.
This hands-on approach ensures that teachers and explainers feel prepared, comfortable, and autonomous in designing inclusive STEAM activities for their own classrooms.
